The two minister held a tete-a-tete meeting, taking up projects in various fields between the two countries.

Speaking after the meeting Yildirim said bilateral trade had seen a 40 percent increase in 2007 over the previous year, and it had reached as high as 3.5 billion USD in the first 7 months of 2008.

The Saudi transportation minister said he was very much pleased with the level of cooperation between the two countries.
