Turkish Red Crescent sends 28,000 bottles of serum to Iraqi refugees
Turkish Red Crescent on Wednesday sent 28,000 bottles of serum to Iraqi refugees who took shelter in Syria.

Releasing a statement, Red Crescent said it has been endeavoring to heal the wounds of Iraqi people in the wake of the war.
Referring to a memorandum of understanding signed between Turkey and Syria on the matter, the statement said, "Turkish Red Crescent head Tekin Kucukali and Syrian Red Crescent head signed the memorandum of understanding to meet the needs of Iraqi refugees in Syria and to open a Turkish Red Crescent office in Syria."
The statement said Turkey also donated two prefabricated school buildings to Syria, "thus Turkey's assistance to the region has amounted to 680,000 USD."
