Gul's meeting with Egma was closed to the press.

Following his meeting with Egma, President Gul proceeded to the Estonian National Library where he and Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves inaugurated an exhibition titled "Turkey: 85 - Estonia: 90".

The exhibition hosted by the Turkish Embassy in Tallinn consists of archives, documents and photographs showing relations between Turkey and Estonia during 85 years of the Republic of Turkey and 90 years of Estonia.

"The archives at the exhibition display close relations between our two countries," Gul said.

"Friends show themselves during difficult times. We have always seen Turkey on Estonia's side during hard times," Ilves said.

Ilves thanked the Turkish Ambassador in Tallinn Ms. Sule Soysal for organizing the exhibition.
