Turkish Ziraat Bankası to open branch in Saudi Arabia
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan said, "a branch of Ziraat Bankasi will be opened in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia soon".

Toptan spoke to journalists after meeting Saudi Arabian King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud in Riyadh.

Parliament Speaker indicated that regional and international matters were discussed during their meeting, and noted that mutual point of views between Turkey and Saudi Arabia on various matters were reaffirmed.

Toptan said there were historical and cultural relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia. "Bilateral trade volume reached 4 billion USD and contractor services exceeded 3.5 billion USD, however it is not enough."

On the other hand, Toptan who also met Saudi Shura Council Chairman Saleh Bin Abdullah bin Hamid, stated that he was the first Turkish Parliament Speaker visiting Saudi Arabia.

Toptan said Turkey and Saudi Arabia have same views about international and regional matters, and both countries have similar views on solution of Iraqi and Palestinian problems.

Toptan also said Turkey would open a trade bureau in Saudi Arabia soon.
