Turkey's parliament speaker calls for peace in South Ossetia
Turkey's parliament speaker called for peace and temperance in regard to clashes between Georgians and South Ossetians.

Speaking to reporters, Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan said, "any instability in Georgia causes uneasiness in Turkey. Our foreign minister and prime minister expressed our concerns to the parties and called for temperance on Friday. Every development in Caucasus concerns Turkey."
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged dialogue to end the conflict in South Ossetia in a telephone conversation with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on Friday.
