Data compiled from National Lottery's figures show that National Lottery repaid 1.887 billion USD in prizes and contributed 2.27 billion USD to public finance in the mean time.

The Privatization Administration Board of Turkey has recently opened a tender to privatize the National Lottery Administration for ten years through TOOR method.

Companies or consortia that are interested in the privatization of the administration have to apply for pre-qualification till January 15, 2009.

The privatization administration board will receive bids till February 27, 2009. It will be a sealed tender, and a bargaining will take place.

The total assets of participant companies/consortia should be at least 250 million USD in 2006 and 2007, and their total equity should be at least 150 million USD.
