Turkey's gasoline consumption down 9.7 P.C in H1
Turkey's diesel fuel consumption grew 1.6 percent, while gasoline consumption dropped 9.7 percent in the first half of this year.

Diesel fuel consumption reached 7.35 million cubic meters in Turkey, a report released by Oil Industry Association said.
The report showed that Turkish people consumed 1.40 million cubic meters of gasoline in the first half of 2008, a 9.7 percent fall over the same period of 2007.
It said that liquified petroleum gas consumption rose 5.7 percent to reach 964,000 tons.
It the first half, the report said, total automotive fuel consumption increased only 0.4 percent.
As a result of soaring oil prices and private consumption tax increase, Turkish oil market grew 27.3 percent over the first half of last year and reached 27.5 billion YTL or 23.7 billion USD, the report said.
