Turkey's exports on rise
Turkey's exports increased by 42 percent in September 2008 when compared to the same month of 2007, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) said on Friday.

TUIK announced foreign trade figures for September 2008 and said the country's exports rose by 42 percent to 12.8 billion U.S. dollars and imports climbed by 23.6 percent to 17.8 billion U.S. dollars in September.
Foreign trade deficit became 5 billion U.S. dollars in the same month, TUIK said.
