Turkey's export figures rises

Turkey's export figures rose 40.8 percent to 12.5 billion USD in July, 2008 compared to July, 2007.

Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) stated on Friday that import figures of Turkey also rose 35 percent to 20.5 billion USD in July, 2008 compared to July, 2007.

TUIK also stated that foreign trade deficit climbed 26.7 percent from 6.2 billion USD to 7.9 billion USD in July, 2008.
