Turkey's Role Becomes More Important, Ep Member Ozdemir
European Parliament member Cem Ozdemir said on Friday that Turkey's role became more important because of the crisis in the region, and urged European Union to develop a strategy together with Turkey.

Giving a news conference in Berlin, Ozdemir who also runs for co-chairmanship of German Greens Party, said there should be rapprochement between Turkey and the EU. "EU will act wisely and intelligently if it includes Turkey to its strategy," he added.
Ozdemir also expressed his will for normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.
