Turkish singer Sertab Erener gave a concert in Rotterdam city of the Netherlands on Wednesday night at the opening of the festival organized in association with the Foundation for Istanbul Culture and Arts, or IKSV, and Culture and Arts Foundation, or KULSAN, in the Netherlands.

During the festival more than 40 events will be performed by famous Turkish artists.

Famous Turkish photographer Ara Guler will open an exhibition on the sidelines of the festival. The exhibition will display photos from Istanbul and Amsterdam. Among the artists, who will join the events to take place mainly in Amsterdam and Rotterdam are Taksim Tri Group, Sabahat Akkiraz, Musa Eroglu, Mustafa Ozarslan, Nilufer Akbal, Ozlem Taner and Mikail Aslan.

Pop-rock music artist Teoman will perform on October 18 in Amsterdam. Also, Misirli Ahmet, Barana Trio, Evrim Demirel, Esra Dalfidan and Tineke Postma will perform between October 16 and November 14 in Rotterdam's famous jazz clubs. Dutch Opera Group Nederlendse Blazers Ensemble will perform the opera "Il Turco" on October 12-13 in Amsterdam, and the Ankara State Ballet Group will be on stage on October 29 at the same venue. Ferhan and Ferzan Önder duo will give a piano concert on October 13 in Amsterdam.

The festival will end on November 17.
