Turkey: A new favorite site of Hollywood
Production companies in Hollywood, the heart of movie industry, have taken action to shoot their film in Turkey.

Turkey, which became the favorite of giant production companies, received offers for five significant project.

In an exclusive interview with the A.A, Abdurrahman Celik, director-general for cinema and copyright, said on Tuesday that Paul Verhoeven, director of "Basic Instinct" and "Robocop", as well as Mario Kassar, producer of "Rambo" and "Terminator", decided to shoot their new film "The Thomas Crown Affair (Topkapi)" in Turkey.

Later, Turkey received five more offers for significant Hollywood productions. Representatives of companies come to Turkey after another to examine some places.

"We have also begun working on an arrangement that would provide production companies with a significant amount of reduction in taxes to draw their attention. Britain, Germany, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Malta, Romania and the United States have made similar arrangements before," he added.
