Saturday, 05 July 2008 13:45
Bertha was centered about 750 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands. It is expected to be about halfway between the west coast of Africa and the Lesser Antilles by Saturday night.
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph with some higher gusting. The storm could gradually strengthen by Sunday.
America has been struggling against the natural disasters, especially the hurricanes for many years.
