THY announces new destinations

Turkish Airlines (THY), Turkey's national carrier, said Wednesday that it would launch two new destinations to Birmingham in Britain and Ufa in the Russian Federation.

THY said flights to Birmingham, second largest British city after London, would start on December 15. THY said it would fly to Ufa starting on March 15, 2009.
