THY, Lufthansa announce new joint flight destinations
Turkish Airlines (THY) and German airline company Lufthansa will conduct joint flights to new destinations.

THY and Lufthansa, both of which are members of the world's largest airline alliance "Star Alliance", decided to add new destinations to their joint flight portfolio, THY's press office said on Tuesday.

According to a code share agreement signed between THY and Lufthansa, Lufthansa's domestic flights from Frankfurt to Berlin, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Munich, and from Munich to Berlin, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Hannover and Hamburg will be conducted jointly by the two airlines starting from October 11, 2008.

Lufthansa's international flights leaving from Frankfurt to the British city of Birmingham and to the U.S. cities of Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Dallas, Detroit, Washington D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Portland, Philadelphia and San Francisco will be conducted jointly with THY as well.

The two companies will also conduct joint flights from Munich to the U.S. cities of Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Moreover, THY's domestic flights from Istanbul to Adana, Antalya, Dalaman, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Konya, Samsun and Trabzon, as well as the airline's international flights from Istanbul to Tabriz, Bahrain and Muscat will be carried out jointly with Lufthansa.
