The one-year loan was provided by 21 banks to Sekerbank.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the bank's executive board chairman Hasan Basri Goktan said Turkey has grown in a stable way and it was expected to grow further. "This expectation makes Turkey a reliable harbour and an alternative place for investment during the period of global crisis," he said.
Sekerbank aimed to be involved among the 10 largest banks of Turkey by 2010, Goktan said.
