Scorching weather to remain one more week in Turkey
The wave of extremely hot weather that has been scorching Turkey for a week now is not likely to subside for another week, although the Marmara and Black Sea regions may see same respite.

During the last week, perceived temperatures were at about 40 degrees Celsius all across the country. This week meteorology experts do not expect lower temperatures in the Aegean, Mediterranean, central Anatolian or southeastern and eastern Anatolia regions, though they say strong winds in the Marmara and Black Sea regions may bring a temperature drop of two to three degrees.
On Wednesday there will be strong northeast winds blowing in İstanbul and other parts of the Marmara region, as well as between Bolu and Kastamonu, taking temperatures down from 39 degrees to 32 or 33 degrees. The perceived temperature in İstanbul is expected to fall to 35 degrees on Tuesday and to 32 degrees on Wednesday, while the perceived temperature will be around 40 degrees throughout the week in İzmir.

On Friday the entire country will be hit with higher temperatures. However, a considerable drop in temperatures is expected to start on Sunday, hinting at the arrival of fall.
