Saudi Arabian delegation in Turkey
Saudi Arabian Agriculture Minister Fahd Balghunaym and accompanying businessmen arrived in Turkey on Tuesday to discuss cooperation and investments in agriculture sector.

Balghunaym met with Turkish Agriculture & Rural Affairs Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker in Ankara.

Saudi minister was briefed on opportunities of investments in Turkish agriculture sector and on Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region.

Saudi delegation wanted to invest in Turkey, sources said.

Minister Eker told reporters that Turkey exported agricultural products worth of 230 million USD to Saudi Arabia.

Eker said that they proposed to sign a protocol with Saudi Arabia for technical cooperation in agriculture sector.

Saudi minister told reporters that they wanted to boost cooperation in agriculture sector with Turkey. He added that they wanted Saudi and Turkish businessmen to come together and increase the investments.

Saudi delegation includes executives of NADEC, Bugshan&Alamoudi Group, Hail Agricult Development Company, Tabuk Agricult. Co., Safola Group, Almuhaidb Group, Alqasseem Agricult. Co. and Al Jouf Agricultural Dev. Co.
