President Gul leaves for Finland
Turkish President Abdullah Gul left for Finland on a formal visit on Tuesday and held a press conference before his departure from the Turkish capital, Ankara.

Replying to questions of reporters, Gul said terrorist organization has been going through a difficult period, because it has been harmed seriously in the recent period.

Gul said there were some regions in Iraq that could not be controlled and heads of terrorist organization have taken shelter at mountains and mountainous areas.

"Everybody knows that fight against terrorism is a long-run one. Turkey is determined in its fight," he said.

Responding another question, Gul said attacks took place in a period when there has been a great improvement in relations between Turkey and Iraq and some did not want these relations to be developed further.

In regard to his visits, Gul said he would pay a visit to Finland between October 7th and 9th and then proceed to Estonia to hold formal talks. Turkey-EU relations and cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, culture, security and science-technology would be discussed during his visits, Gul said.
