Minister 'resigns' over attacks

Indian Home Minister Shivraj Patil has submitted his resignation in the wake of Mumbai attacks, Indian TV reports.

The resignation has been submitted to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the three main news channels said.

There was no immediate word if the resignation had been accepted.
