Anyone who has lived in a religious atmosphere in an Islamic land and has gone to West once can comprehend both the power of Islam compared to Christianity and the incentives beyond global campaign against Islam.

In the West world especially America is a “religious” country if description of people about themselves shall be taken as basis. However, when we look at the style of religion shaped in these lands, one thinks as faced with a religion of “human production”, because the religion we faced has harmonized with capitalism and had relativity. In other words, religion has also surrendered to the embracing attribution of capitalism in all fields of life; religion is entitled to live as against this submission. As it is seen in the examples of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Easter and St. Valentine's Day, religion is subject to the fiction of consuming society. It is a panorama of maximizing consumption instead of having religious connotations. If it is convenient for selling more, then there is a place for religion and religious people in this system!

This function of religion within consumption wheels of capitalism is not only valid for Christianity. The integration of inspected versions of Buddhism and Hinduism in West with the consumption culture is really remarkable since it is expected from these religions to have a complete “spirituality” and be away from materialism.

In such a view, we see that they give mission of “bogey” for Islam. The themes of rudeness, badness, bloodthirstiness, impatience of Muslims are discussed at every turn. Rather we should say: Opportunities that enable to discuss these themes about Muslims are designed constantly.

Danish centered and kept bringing up cartoon crisis is one of the most striking samples in the recent years. People denying the respect shown to Holy Christ by Muslims as a “prophet” by giving the name of “Son of God”, and converting Messiah Christ to a “pop icon”, taking their own point as center, say that they are surprised to Muslims' reactions against cartoons cursing Holy Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. If there is any situation of not laying claim to these cartoons exactly, this is based to “economical” sensitivity rather than a religious, moral and humanist sensitivity. As it is experienced in Denmark sample, they have a fear of Muslims boycott of relevant countries' goods and brands...

On the other hand, there are constantly incidents and events that show this tendency against Holy Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him. The events in concept of the book The Satanic Verses of Salman Rushdie in 1980ies are not so far away. Everyone knows there was a special effort of bothering the memory of Prophet and his hadithes in the biased efforts of orientalists against Islam during the period when especially colonialism gained acceleration. In order to learn the view against Islam prophet in previous periods nourished from which baseless claims, it is enough to look at the studies of originally Polish Muslim historian Bogdan Ataullah Kopanski about Islam image in the Middle-Age Western world.

In summary, in the center of hostile attitudes towards Islam, the most important secret that enable Islam as the only religion against global capitalism is the life of Holy Prophet and his Sunna. Cartoon crisis does not point at a “communication accident”; on the contrary, it is an expression of an inner grudge and anger. In such crisis, the hatred of knowing it is impossible to take over Muslim world completely while the life and memory of Prophet peace be upon him stays safe and sound.

This situation valid for western side is also valid for occidentalists opponent to Islam and Prophet within Muslim societies. We personally see people who have an effort of “secularizing” Muslim minds and lives in Turkey and various places in Islam geography have also got into a habit of “grazing to the Prophet and the Sunna”.

It seems that as long as Islam societies keep inheritance of the Prophet as pivot of their lives and thoughts, this global tension shall continue under different manifestations.

Conversely, as long as Muslim societies hold on the Sunna, life and memory of Prophet peace be upon him, global hegemonic powers will not be able to defeat them in terms of mind, heart and life style.

“Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers!” said holy Prophet.

The description of those “strangers” in the continuation of the hadith is so stunning: “Those strangers are the ones who will revive my Sunna and teach it to the people” *
