The Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan said: "our security forces, soldiers, gendarmeries are all guardians of democracy, secularism, human rights and nation's hegemony." The Prime Minister gave very important messages in his speech in the graduation ceremony of police academy. Erdoğan said: "Turkey has the capacity to allow co-existence of democracy, secularism, fundamental rights and freedoms and modern state concept. We will embrace each quality of Turkish Republic which a democratic, secular and social law state. We will see democracy, security, law, justice superior to anything else." Referring to the police force, Erdoğan said: "you are the guardians of democracy, secularism and human rights as well as peace."
