The Court discovered that CHP's irregular expenses was 35.3 thousand YTL in 1998; 267.8 thousand YTL in 2004; 161.6 thousand YTL in 2005; and 465.6 thousand YTL in 2006.

The court asked Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor to indict CHP executives.

The court also ruled that properties belonging to CHP worth of 35.3 thousand YTL would be seized and handed over to the Treasury. (1 USD = 1.226 YTL)

Constitutional Court Chief Judge Hasim Kilic, replying to questions of reporters about the issue, said that laws and the Constitution were clear. He added that irregularities, which were found in the accounts of CHP, did not constitute a reason to close the party.
