Mahindra & Mahindra operates six plants in India, three in the United States, and has joint ventures in China.

Anjanikumar Choudhari, president of company's Farm Equipment Sector, said that nearly 40,000 tractors were manufactured and sold in Turkey which made it an important market for Mahindra & Mahindra.

Ilce Group, Mahindra's Turkish partner, has set up a plant with a capacity of 4,000 tractors yearly. Ilce Group will bring parts and assemble tractors locally.

Mahindra & Mahindra aims to sell 170,000 tractors globally and 1,000 tractors in a year in Turkey.
