Incidents in Burhaniye Prison end
Incidents caused by inmates in a jail in Burhaniye town of north western province of Balikesir ended on Monday.

Gendarmery Commander Colonel Mehmet Turhal told A.A correspondent that the inmates were persuaded to end the protest and five guards, who were taken hostage, were released.
The inmates started the protest early on Monday seeking an amnesty and claiming that prison conditions were not good. The prison has 258 inmates.
There are no casualties after the incidents.
