Global stagnation hits Toyota
Due to the shrinking in Europe, Toyota announced to slow down production and to reduce temporary employees in Turkey.

Mortgage crisis dragging US and Europe to stagnation pushed world giant Toyota, too. Recess in sales made the executives slow down production in Europe.

Toyota will reduce its production capacity in Britain and Turkey and plans to sack temporary staff. The plant in Adapazarı will start producing 10,000 units less. After the drops in sales in especially US market, the slowdown in European economies started to be felt. Automotive producers started to make decisions to withdraw sales targets and to fire employees. Due to the shrinking in Europe, Toyota announced to slow down production and to reduce temporary employees in Turkey.
