Security forces detained eight people in connection with the attack. Five of them including a woman were transferred to the court after being questioned by the prosecutor.

The detainees were arrested by the court on charges of "being a member of terrorist organization and staging armed acts, and aiding and abetting to terrorist organization", and sent to prison.

Five people including four police officers were killed and 18 people were injured in a terrorist attack on a police bus in Diyarbakir on October 8th.
