The festival began with the display of Turkish director Abdullah Oguz's movie "Bliss" (Mutluluk).

The inauguration of the festival --which was held by "Tiyatro Aktuel Berlin"-- took place in "Delphi Filmpalast am Zoo" cinema hall.

Besides many officials, Turkish Consul General in Berlin Ahmet Nazif Alpman and Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit attended the inauguration ceremony.

The 6th Turkish Movies Festival will continue till April 12th. Movies will be shown in three cinema halls.
